Direction to start modding

I am new to modding in Dragon Age, but I have modded for FO3 and Oblivion. I did not see anything that would look like to be an editor from the basic game installation folders.

Is there a place to get an editor for the game? I would much appreciate any info of how to get an editor and even further appreciate a direction for learning of modding in Dragon Age.

The toolset can be downloaded at http://social.bioware.com/page/da-toolset. There are some tutorials at http://dragonagemodding.wordpress.com/category/tutorials/ that might help with getting started.

If you're thinking about doing mods that change the stats on armors or weapons, theres a mod called the winter forge that can allow you to do it IN GAME. Which is really cool because it can A) Either save you time and frustration in the toolset, of B) Allow you test the stats that you're thinking about using BEFORE taking the time to mess with the toolcrap.

Oh! Forgot to mention that with WF you can make items such as rings, belts, and necklaces to your own desire as well

Vet, hahaha thanks, appreciate that

LOL Its true tho, Winter Forge is highly addictive. I'd say that at LEAST 55% of my gametime is now spent working with that mod, rather than actually running thru quests, or spent talking to my NPC's

Hmmm, ya know, I have no idea if/how to endorse posts on here, lol.

Hehehehe, enjoy Vet, enjoy
