Stupid request for the landsmeet.

I have always wondered if Alistair and Loghain could stay in the same party via mod or if there is one out there to help with such things? I have looked and didn't see one, however, it did seem as though this would be quite possible on the surface (although this doesn't mean anything) as there is a way to keep both alive.

1) Have Alistair marry Anora

2) Say Loghain is useful

3) Alistair takes throne and whines like a girl as the darkspawn ravage the universe and you and Loghain kick ass.

I actually liked Alistair, and I also liked the idea of taking Loghain and making him into the thing he seemed to hate. The decision seemed really off to me since I could convince Alistair that killing Eamon's wife or son was the right thing to do, but when I want to use an experienced warrior to fight the darkspawn and then force him to sacrifice himself to spare Alistair and myself for rebuilding the order and rule the land. But Alistair has to act like a pansy and doesn't see reason.

Wouldn't it be possible to simply remove the trigger that Alistair leaves when you recruit Loghain, and have a MASSIVE approval drop (say -50 or something) but stays with you. Loghain's joining cutscene goes off without a hitch, and Alistair is still there.

The only problem with cheating Loghain in is that you cannot go to camp (alistair and loghain share the same placements, causing the game to crash.) and he clips into Alistair during the meeting at Redcliff castle. Would it be possible to move Loghain's position during this cutscene and camp? Would it be possible to have his party banter and comments to NPCs if Alistair is also in the party?

I know I must seem like I am rambling, but I would really like to see if this is simply possible, even if it is never made.

Alistair leaves your party in that scenario Trefalen.

Yep, but he is still king, and will be there for awakenings :)

Technically true, but in terms of playability not.

If you harden Alistair and have him marry Anora and also take Loghain and sacrifice him, then 1) you still can't have Alistair in the party, because even though he still becomes king he still won't stay with you, and 2) even in awakening at the beginning when you're visited by royalty, then if you hardened Alistair and had him marry Anora IT STILL ACTS AS IF HE'S NOT KING. Anora acts as regent in awakening, not Alistair.

I too would like to know if there's a mod available that allows you to have both Loghain and Alistair in the party together, as the fact that Alistair has a hissy fit and leaves is pretty bad writing imho.
