LoveJoy
Hi all. Has anyone noticed this game. Planet Explores is on Steam in a Alpha release. It might be worth considering adding to nexus mod managers list of games. Lot's of player created items and great potential in the game itself. http://steamcommunity.com/app/237870/screenshots/
Vagrant0
Been playing this game a bit myself. Unfortunately it doesn't look like there have been too many people uploading things to the Nexus for it yet. I added mod categories and such earlier to try and encourage some activity, so we'll see it things start picking up as the game gets closer to completion. Beriallord
I checked out the SCs, and the very first thing I see is a stereotypical "fetch quest" in progress. That will be a huge turn off for a lot of people.
Vagrant0
I checked out the SCs, and the very first thing I see is a stereotypical "fetch quest" in progress. That will be a huge turn off for a lot of people. The first thing you see are fetch quests since these work well as a way to expose the player to one or two basic mechanics as part of learning the game. At early game, there are really only 3 options for introducing the ways to play... Fetch quests, forced onscreen prompts, or throwing out tutorials entirely. As things progress, there is a little more variety on the quests, but you have to keep in mind that all of the story mode content in the game currently is still along the lines of a tutorial since they're trying to get you familiar with all the tools and mechanics. Once you get established enough to go off on your own, or get an adventure world going, you can see where the game might shine a bit more brightly.
