oblivion crashes after in-game loading

I managed to find a problematic mod - Finite Ammo (http://www.tesnexus....le.php?id=27731)

 

With this mod installed, I can not quickload in a running game and quickloading in a completely new game causes a black screen for a second. Without this mod, quickloading in a new game is immediate (no black screen), though I can not load a previously saved game, the game crashes when I try to.

Erm:

Finite Ammo REQUIRES Oblivion Script Extender (OBSE) v0015a or later.

That's ridiculous. I use OBSE all the time and seldom had a problem with reloading old game or quickloading. I'm playing a new game now and everything works smoothly.

i'm having problem with my oblivion as well, but no crashing, it just freezes right there, can't do anything afterwards. I found out it only happened on several saves but 1 character, i don't wanna start over again, because i've been starting over like five times this week.

 

Detail of the problem: like usual, i saved (usually on quicksave, i don't save often i know, and i should have) and quit, like usual it won't quit until half an hour so i used task manager to shut it off, and then when i load the game i can only play for 3 seconds, that's right 3 seconds and everything stops. The game doesn't even quit, i had to use task manager everytime i quit.

 

Detail of my modding: i don't use many graphical mods, because this laptop is a bit dull, yes i used francesco's and his addon (version 5) yes i used vvardenfel imports, but i don't use that bigass retex that Qarl (i think) made, and i don't use OBGE, i don't use stutter remover or whatsoever. The only thing that feels heavy for my laptop is the "Arena Alive" mod, which is pretty sweet, but it gives me framerate drops when i'm fighting or watching fights, but that's not the problem. I've used simpler mods back days and had this problem, i had to recreate similar character and thank God it worked, my old char is level 37. But this new character i'm gettin' is fun man, i'm using oblivion xp and decided to deal with the crashes, the glitches (commonly infinite exp, solution: reload a hard save) and all that shiett, but i can't just rewind every day now can't i?

 

My request: i just want to know. I just want to know, what is the problem. You don't have to give me solutions if you can't or won't but please, tell me what's wrong, why am i getting so much of these freezes (reminder: 5 times this week)

 

Hypotheses: corrupted save, possible solution: move oblivion save folder, start oblivion and wrye bash, enter main menu, and create new game. Quit oblivion, reinstate old oblivion save folder, reinstall darkUIdarn (because it modifies oblivion.ini values) and try to load old save.

 

2nd Hypotheses: too many mods, had to eject some.

 

3rd Hypotheses: laptop can't handle me right now, must buy a new one.
