holyhitman173
So When I first ran the Nexus mod manager for Oblivion it told me I needed write permissions to continue which I enabled them and ran as admin just in case. No it is giving me this message. "You are missing C:\Program Files (x86)\ Bethesda Softworks\ Oblivion\ Data\ oblivion.esm. Please verify your game install and ensure C:\Program Files (x86)\ Bethesda Softworks\ Oblivion\ Data\ oblivion.esm is present." I own the game and bought it off steam. I installed and re-installed and it is still giving me this hassle. What am I supposed to do?
DrakeTheDragon
In this case? Give it the correct path to your Oblivion install, which in case of Steam will never be "C:\Program Files (x86)\ Bethesda Softworks\ Oblivion". It must be somewhere inside your "steamapps" folder instead. Some paths I've seen posted in the past have been along the lines of "C:\Program Files (x86)\ Steam\ SteamApps\ common\ Oblivion" for example. But I'm not using Steam myself and it highly depends on your own install.
