Roughnecks2277
I got an idea after reading some of the comments in my previous topic. Since UAC is on vista and win7, i have a windows xp computer that will allow the mods i download. So i had two questions: How old is TES Oblivion? Will my NVIDIA GeForce3 200 Ti graphics card work for Oblivion? Thanks,Roughnecks.
Ethre
~Four year old. A Geforce3 200 will have some problems with it. Might work with Oldblivion though.
Jenrai
Tend to agree with Ethre. Oblivion "feels" older than it is. It was released in 2006. So was the X360. You can't tell me that doesn't feel like its been around longer than 4 years. Ho hum. Back to the point; The 300 series will have some issues with running Oblivion, particularly if you start adding appearance mods. It doesn't quite have the "oomph" required to get it running in all its glory... in fact, I don't think it has the oomph to get it running in half its glory.Remember, when Oblivion came out, it kicked a whole bunch of the lower end graphic cards pretty much right out of the market, because everyone always wants one that can run the newer games, and like we always do, we all thought 'Wow! look at this! All games will look this good in the future! And need this much power!' ... and like we always are, we were wrong. Very view games look even nearly as good as Oblivion, even today. Even fewer still require the power Oblivion does. Good luck with it if you give it a shot, but don't be too disappointed if it doesn't quite work.Jenrai
