Shadowfen
Even if I try to start a new game, i get the same retarded looking zombie freak. So I guess its not the save game...well at least I don't have to start over... A bright side at last! :) Try moving your archiveinvalidation.txt file to someplace else (as a backup) and running without it just to see if the faces are repaired. Shadowfen
Didn't work... =[ Alternatively, Ren (or something else) might have modified your oblivion.ini to add a bsa to the BSA loading list and when you removed mods, you did not know to remove the bsa from the oblivion.ini again. I don't know as much about that, but you could find your oblivion.ini in My Documents (not the default one in oblivion yet), find the bsa loading list, and then verify that all of the bsa's listed there are actually in the oblivion/data directory, and you want them to be there. I can't give you better instructions for this because I don't have oblivion installed on my netbook (which is all I have available to me right now). That would have been my next recommendation, because if the bsa load list didn't work I had run out of ideas. Sorry I couldn't help more.

Meshes only control shape and the shapes didn't change (i.e. no new spikes or knob coming out the eyes <g>). Textures control color.

Shadowfen
...well what controls position? Nothing precisely. The texture and the mesh are a matching pair in that when the texture is wrapped around the mesh (kind of like wrapping paper), the colors appear in the appropriate places because they were simply colored in the places that would wrap there. That would imply that your meshes don't agree with your textures or vice versa (for instance one could be vanilla and the other is not).
