bben46
Whatever card you decide on be sure to measure to be sure it will fit, and does not cover something up on your motherboard or hit something when installed. Also be sure to check the power requirements for any new card as the power supplies in many name brand (DELL, HP etc) computers are barely able to run the original configuration. Adding a new video card could easily over run the power it can supply. When calculating power requirements, be sure to allow at least 200 Watts for everything else. So if your new Video card is rated at 125 watts at idle and 300 watts peak. use the 300 watt max for calculations - 300 watts for the card, 200 watts for the rest of the computer and another 100 Watts for any other additions (second Hard drive, Sound card etc) gives you a MINIMUM power requirement of 600Watts. So that 450Watt supply that came with it will probably power it up. But when you try to play a power hungry game like Oblivion, it will crash constantly and eventually burn out. Probably damaging your motherboard and new video card when it does.
