Saarathing
I don't have daupdater at all. I know, everyone says it's supposed to be in the bin_ship folder, but heck! There's no bin_ship either. The screenshot is too large so I'll just link it.http://i862.photobucket.com/albums/ab188/Saarathing/vittuperkele.jpg?t=1271430362 I'd really appreciate it if someone could answer. It's.... quite frustrating.
DarkeWolf
Hiyas Saara. Well, first thing that I notice is that you're looking in the wrong dragon age folder for it/them. If you let the game install itself, rather than telling it where to install the game files, it should be something like C:/program files/bioware/dragon age.Or it might be C:/program files/dragon age. I say "something like" because I had mine install to a different harddrive. But thats usually how default directories go. Also, if you're looking for an installer to use to install mods, I would VERY much recommend DAmodder over DAUpdater. http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=286 The files and folders that are in the Documents folders are only for files that get modified during gameplay, or for mods. All the core files, such as .exe are stored in the program files' Dragon Age folder
Saarathing
Oh! Thanks (haha). I somehow had an itch that I'd been doing something wrong so I guess that was it. I tried DAmodder before but I couldn't get it to work with my super awesome computer skills. The description does say that it requires .NET 3.5 installed but I'm... kind of, er, fail with computers so I can't really do anything about it (what is that thing, anyway?). Of course there's also the possibility that I already have it and that I'm just installing DAmodder wrong. The mysteries of computers... Oh well, I'll figure it out after I find that damn folder ;). DarkeWolf
LOL ah well, sometimes its the little things, that get by us  .net is a programming base from Microsoft that is used as the foundation language in some programs. If you dont already have it, you can download it from MS. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=333325fd-ae52-4e35-b531-508d977d32a6&displaylang=en
roninsoul7
Another possibility is run the game once, then use DAOmodmanager, I hear great things about DAmodder but it seems less user friendly for some.
