adamii
Has anyone created an armor equivalent to the Sentinel armor in Awakenings for the OC? The "Awakening in the OC" mod is too sketchy for me (has anyone created an easier awakenings to OC abilities/ items mod, by the way?). The main thing I wanted was the Sentinel armor, but I would take a knock off with the same look and same stats if there is one.

DarkeWolf
Something like this would be really sketchy. The only way to do it would be to make fully create from scratch a likeness of the files necessary to make one of the DAO armors resemble the set you're looking for.If the original textures were used, or the original DAA armor were ported over, it would be an upload that would violate the site rules regarding illegal ports, or illegal distribution of material. The only legal way for this to be allowable here, would be to create a .uti file for armor, a method of delivering it to the PC, and have the END USER (IE- YOU) copy over the necessary files from your Awakening Folder to your Override folder. Which is exactly what you have to do with the Awakening in the OC mod. -DarkeWolf, Nexus Staff

DarkeWolf
Ok Edriano, this is what I mean. Say for example, that I dont have the DAA expansion. (Which I really don't).IF you were to include files from a release that I didnt pay for, you're "giving" me textures or meshes, or other artwork that has to be paid for, to bioware, in order for me to use it.By not paying Bioware for it's use, and then using it, I'd be committing theft, by downloading the mod containing the assets that I didnt pay for. And that is why the content for the armors would have to be either ported over into the appropriate folders by the HOME USER themself, or completely custom made artwork would need to be made for it to legal to distribute.
