How to add items to leveled lists in CS

First off, if you can retexture armor, Leveled Lists will be simple for you.

 

read this to get familiar with the various settings

 

I'd suggest you start by adding your items for sale in the various stores in Cyrodiil, LLs are simpler for containers than they are for NPCs.

 

Start by selecting the LeveledItem category in the Object Window, here are all the LLs in the game. Double click any one of them to see its contents, replace everything with your armor peices, set "Level" to controll when the PC will be able to buy them. Give it a new ID, click "ok", click "yes" to create a new form.

 

Now find your shop in the cell view window, in the right pane, look thru the "containers" till you find one with "Merch" in the editor ID.

(or look under the floor of the shop in the render window, usually there will be 2 chests, one for merchandise and one for the unique item they sell)

Right click the Merch chest and choose "edit", in the Reference window that pops up click "Edit Base", this will bring up the Container window where youll see what the vendor has available for sale. Here you have a choice: either drag and drop your LL into that Merch chest (Ive read this can cause conflicts with other LL mods) OR create a new chest being shure to give the vendor ownership. Click "ok", click "yes" to create a new form.
