Slofs Alien/Clannfear textures

When I put the textures in, it makes all Clannfears have that texture but I wanted to make a new Clannfear and have only that Clannfear with the texture.

 

So I edited the CreatureClannfear, gave it a new ID and name and everything to make a new one but I have no idea how to individually give it Slofs Alien textures without giving every Clannfear that texture.

 

Could someone help with that? :turned:

The textures are actually attached to a mesh. First, take Slof's mesh, and put it in the according map (creatures/daedra/clannfear)

Slof should have already done that. Next, go to the creature and doubleclick it. Click the modellist. You should see your new nifs.

Choose those and disable the old ones. You should know the rest

 

Ok I just read your post again, and it sounds like slof attached the texture to the vanilla meshes. Rename the meshes to something new, *before extracting them to your data folder*, and them put them in your data folder.

Its in a Textures folder and they're .dds files so I really don't get the whole plan there :/ Because you're saying meshes and maps and I don't understand. :/

 

The .rar file has the readme and some other thing showing whats in the file (textures/creatures/clannfear/clannfear.dds, textures/creatures/clannfear/clannfear_n.dds) then it has a Textures folder. In it is a creatures folder, then clannfear, then the .dds files.

If it only has a texture folder, it's overwrites the original textures. You need to have some knowledge of this to do this, so I'll do it for you ;P give me about half an hour, maybe longer

Ok. It didn't take me half an hour ;p

I udes slof's rideable alien clannfear, i hope that's the correct one

They are ready for use. Extract these to your data folder

they should appear under clannfear's modellist as newclannfear
