The Auto Start Spells

Hey,

 

I want to turn off the auto start spells but they aren't enabled... in the CS.

I don't understand why ALL players start with Flare and Restore Life.

The boxes for PC start are not enabled for these spells, yet every character has them.

 

I want to remove them and re-do the magic tutorial a little.

Can someone tell me why / how they are enabled?

Is it a script applying them, becuase they are not auto enabled through the spells list.

I've been looking, and I can't find how you prevent them either. I just scripted for them to be removed using the standard console commands within the mod I was building. Flare is just such a gimpy spell in the first place.

Can you do me a solid and send me an esp with your removal script?

I want to redo the magic tutoral a bit.

I don't think my Beefy Orc should start with a lame flare spell (or restore life)

I've been able to figure out that all the spells that are PC start spells get applied to the PC after they choose a profession that uses the attribute of the spell as a main attribute.

 

I still can't figure out why everyone starts with flare and restore health.

Still can't disable them from the beginning.

 

Anyone?

Ok I figured it out.

 

The default spells are attached to Object NPC player 000007.

I just deleted them from that object.

 

Done.

 

You don't need a script to disable them.

just remove them from the list.

 

I'm going to add some scrolls (more scrolls) to the dead goblin shamen so the magic tutorial popup still makes sense.

 

Can someone help me lay out how to detect if the player has some magic scrolls?

I want to add a check for that in the magic tutorial.

 

And a Question:

Does using a scroll increase the attribute related to the spell cast from the scroll?
