CTD upon Entering THIS cell.

Ok, every time I set foot in the Cell that's pictured below, I get a CTD.

 

I've tagged everything in Wrye Bash that BOSS suggested, Rebuilt the patch checking off everything I wanted to merge into it, even updated my OOO and MMM files [cleaned off all the old of MMM, and reinstalled 3.7b3, patched OOO to 1.34.] I still get a CTD every time i go to that cell.

 

Anyone ever experienced a persistent CTD related to a particular cell? How'd you resolve it?

 

I have no idea what cell this is, or how to give you a quantitative name for it. If anyone can tell me how to do that, that'd be great and I'd be happy to provide you with that information.

Usually when I see this type of crash it comes from something that was removed and the game is still looking for. The best known example is the Bruma statue bug. Where a statue is made using the the current character as a model. Then the user changes the race of their character. When the new character attempts to enter Bruma the game cannot find the character it used for the statue and crashes.

 

Try going back to a very early save game and see if you can enter the cell. Then if it works, use the feature in OBMM that shows what mods were active and which were not to narrow down what causes it. By jumping to different saves and seeing which saves work and which do not, and what mods were present at the time.

This is helpful info, I never thought about the game might be looking for something that isn't there...Maybe when I updated some mods this happened.

There were some issues with Deadly Reflex causing CTDs. You might check to make sure you have the latest version. Also, it no longer goes after your Bashed Patch. Run BOSS to find a reasonably good suggestion for optimal loading location.

I'm sing DR4 because i didn't wanna use the beta version of 5 that didn't include some of the stuff.
