Tribalon
Hey everybody, I used the search function and found a threat with a similar topic, but it's but not entirely serving my intention about a request, so I'll give it a try. So far I used to install a larger number of mods and added more and more by time, quite often resulting in corrupted save states (game crashing or exiting) by trying something new additionally (that's why I's saving my game very often), compatibility issues or with the problem that some mods are very sensitive regarding the installation order. In short terms: I'd highly appreciate a feature for Nexus or a mod maybe, which could save the current mod session (which ones are activated and which ones are not), including order etc. This would be handy if one likes to try out something new but would love to keep the working current mod status. E.g. at the moment my Skyrim is modded almost perfectly with everything I really like, but trying a few new features or mods could push it sometimes... I am not sure it this is possible in technical terms, but maybe it is. See ya Tribalon
Oubliette
This is already available in Wrye and in Mod Organizer. Since Wrye is already recommended for everyone, even users of M.O. or NMM I would just use that to manage your saves and the mods that they are dependant upon. When you install Wrye, read the instructions on 'save profiles' and how to keep load a list of mods from previous save points. Load order shouldn't really change much (if you add a mod to it, the other mods might shift a bit forward or back but if you take a mod out the mods should not need to be re-ordered as they should already be in a good position).
