roninsoul7
Back on topic... I personally couldn't stand Wynne, Zevran, or Morrigan. Wynne is a busybody, getting her nose in your business all the time, I use the Beguiler mod to put her at max love and never talk to her. Zevran just gives me the creeps, and even after telling him I don't swing that way, he keeps trying... all the power to people who do swing that way, but leave me alone about it after I make my own view clear, I mean really, expect tolerance then don't give any?? Morrigan, I agree with Alistair, complete and utter B**ch, can't even keep her around even if you do like her. I tend to play melee characters, my favourites being a 2handed warrior or a duel weilding rogue, so I need both mages or a LOT of potions, which sucks cause both mages you get I can't stand (I am going to have to look into that party picker mod, need more mages, hopefully quiet ones). jaysus
you could always use the character reset potions from that mod with the raven and turn your companions into another class with the console cheats, wouldnt be correct in regards to the lore but hey... leliana would make a nice healer and alistair an arcana mage, i like morri tho... shes like the pet cat in opposition to a pet dog like leliana, she has her own will and stuff, amazing lol
DarkeWolf
metagame items can also do the things that you're talking about using for the class change, the respec, and whatnot. without having to look up cheat codes, hope that you dont typo, and whatnot. RustyBlade
All the companions have their good points and their bad points and as it is in RL with real friends one must take the good with the bad (or part company) but I really hate that nasty little dwarf Oghren, if the game would let me I would take great pleasure in separating his head from his neck. When I saw he was the only one of the first set of characters that made it to Awakenings, I was so disgusted that it took me two weeks before I could go back and play it (mostly because I didn't like the idea of wasting my money on the game.) I think what really set me off about him was when he told my EM Mage character to basically service his needs and then called him woman... it just set me off and while I froze him, flamed him and electrically fried him, it just wasn't enough as he was still there and alive. Odd thing is, that character was bi and was trying to screw everyone in camp. Perhaps someday someone will make a "Kill Oghren" mod and I can save and replay over and over and over... Codifer
I would definitely DL a "Kill Oghren" mod. I also totally agree with the anti Zev sentiment that some have expressed. Strangely, and perhaps ironically, I encountered Zev late last night when confronted by Taliesin on my way to kill Arle Howe in Denerim. I was surprised when Zev turned on me and Morrigan (the last one standing after a long fight) wasted him. I was pleased. I stood over his corpse and gloated (I would've peed on him if the game would have allowed it). I suppose that I should not have been surprised as I had ignored Zev in the camp. I did not talk to him and he certainly did not get any silver ingots or Dalish boots. I do not know what his approval rating might have been. Probably not high. Next play through I think that I will just kill him the first time I see him. Zev's part in DAO led one of my first characters astray and she wound up making a deal with the Crows. I regretted that and, as a result, did let that character that I had been so fond of languish while I developed new (and wiser) rogue ladies. That character is still on the load list but she seems to be stuck smoking Andraste's Grace at the Pearl. Shame really.
Alehazar
To get the nug you have to make sure you talk to Leliana in Orzammar and have her tell you that she thinks nugs are cute, otherwise you won't have the option in dust town to ask the guy to find you one for her. Also, for those that can't stand the noise from them, there's a mod that quiets them up. To answer the question of the thread, Oghren is the one I could happily do without. Which I suppose is yet another reason I find Awakenings a bit of a kick to the guts. :) Thanks, I'm not sure I actually spoke to her in Orzammar, but I remember her saying she didn't like nugs they were dirty, or something along those lines, I'll fish out an old save and try it again... honestly what a palaver just to buy a stupid nug. Don't know whether this is prerequisite to acquire the Cute Nug or not: I first talk to the guy who lost all his nugs -he's in the Commons, near Dagna and the lyriumcrazed merchant that sells Morrigan's mirror. Leliana remarks that she thinks common nugs look dirty. Then you can find all these common nugs in the Commons. When you talk to Leliana in Dust Town -where the Idle Dwarf resides- she may tell you about the grandness of Orzammar and about these cute subterranean bunnypigs. Now talk to the idle dwarf. Leave Dust Town or enter the Dust Town Shop and return to the Idle Dwarf; he'll have the Cute Nug ready once you talk to him. Alehazar
Oghren is a rude sob, sure. But he's also one of the best comic relief sidekicks with his failed innuendo's. His comments towards Leliana, Shale and Wynne are beautiful. Shale and Oghren are the ones that have the funniest comments in my personal opinion. Oghren's little chat to the Warden prior to engaging a conversation with Felsi and the actual dialogue with Felsi are wonderful. "That's me, Mr. Charm." And the way he is rebuffed by Felsi is hilarious. Those two were indeed made for each other -can't you feel the love? While a mod that changes Leliana into a close approximation of the foxy girl in the Urn of sacred Ashes Trailer, has made me re-appreciate the little Bard, I think she has the poorest voice work of the lot. After Zathrian surrenders in the Sanctum of the Lady of the Forest and Swiftrunner wants to go in for the kill: "No! Lady, stop him.". I mean, please! Or when you agree to help Wynne sort out the troubles in the Tower and you talk to Keili. "Don't say that. You have a right to live, just like anyone else". ell46
Thanks everyone for the buying a nug tips, I've started a new game and fingers crossed I will be able to buy one in this game, then I'll have to get the mod to shut the thing up  I just need to prove I CAN get one.
