Bad Oblivion performance and crashing to desktop

Hi,

 

After installed Qarl Texture Pack III (great thing) the game performance is awfull .

 

Have anyone a plugin that increase a game performance and prevent from random crash to the desktop?

 

I.E lowering grass , trees , lod etc

Unfortunately, Qarl Texture pack will eat your performance alive unless you have a really good system.

There are several, like the QTP redimized. Just search for that on TESnexus. As for crash prevention, you want to look for the Oblivion Stutter Remover as well as the Oblivion Crash Prevention System. Both to be found here.

 

Also there are many tweaks (just make a search for tweak). You have to test what helps your own system. Also a search for low res might get some results. Without knowing your system specs, it is hard to actually suggest one mod.

I downloaded Fast Exit 2 and that solved the problem.

 

QTP3R is quite good and the performance is better than normal QTP3 .

 

I have Streamline 3.1 and Oblivion Polygone Overhaul , Oblivion Script Optimizer and removed some shaders .

 

I recommend to use these tools to improve the game performance.
