Strange CTD Caused by vanilla Shock Spell

Hi,

 

Well about a year ago i had this issue and i cant remember how i corrected it and now its back again. It was on a similar system, one spec down from my current rig which you can see in my profile page.

I am running well over 300 mods and it is a stable build no other CTD at all apart from bethesda randomness so i dont want to reinstall.

 

The Issue is when anyone casts a shock spell I CTD (this happens at varying stages of the spell but the spell effect never reaches fruition).

 

To resolve this issue myself i have

1)Updated Gfx Drivers

2) Updated sound card drivers

3)installed a shock spell replacer (Storms and sounds)

 

Obviously I use Boss/wrye/obmm/gecko/tesedit regularly. All to no avail so i am not sure if this is a mod thing or a hardware thing but a mod thing is much more likely.

I also am working on an excel document that contains mods sorted into groups, whats contained in merges and texture replacers that are espless but i cant upload that here

Any ideas on what could cause this issue in what is an extremely stable build would be soooo appreciated.
