No Follower Autolevel not working

So I installed the mod after doing a clean install, patching up to 1.03 and installing other mods such as Improved Atmosphere, JBTextures, Dragon Age Redesigned, Zevran Dialog Fix, Advanced Tactics, and No Starting Abilities.

 

Every other mod seems to be working except for this one. I've tried 2 different Origin stories and no matter what I do, the NPCs always autolevel. No clue why it's not working at all.

 

Can someone provide some advice for helping me get this to work since I know it's a widely used mod? Can't stand when the NPCs autolevel with crap skills I'll never use.

 

EDIT: And I found the problem. There's some type of conflict with Advanced Tactics. Not sure what it is but when I disable it, everything seems to work fine. Hmm. Any suggestions?

Ok, while I am NOT familiar with the files that advanced tactics uses (never used that one, sorry :sad: ) this generally happens when two mods use the same file, and creates a conflict. as the game will only read ONE version of said file. What you would have to do is explore both mods. find out which file it is that they both use, and then combine the information from one file, into the other. Basically, merge them into one file, and then delete the spare from your dragon age folder.

I'm sorry that I cant be more help than that. But like I said, I'm not familiar with which files these types of mods use.

 

Its also possible that both mods try to edit the same affects. Such as say... One of them tells the game put such and such skill on such and such character at such and such level. The other mod says Hey, dont put any skills on any characters, at any level. The game is going.... HUH??? Ok, this one told me to do this, first, so that is what I'm going to do.

 

You could check both mods to see if anybody has released a compatibility patch too.
