Just what the title says,my oblivion is randomly crashin,i may play for hours without stop and not crash and then play for 10 mins and crash, when this happens the game freezes and i get a notice from vista(vista may be the prob i dont know)That the program has stopped workin

I didnt really care for the problem but it got really annoying when it happened when i opened a door and the autosave became corrupted cause the game froze at the savin moment

Please if someone got any ideas or info on this please tell me,help will be appreciated

(SOME MORE INFO:i am usin mods but that cant be the case cause when i started playin with mods i had no probs, and when this happened i hadnt installed a new mod recenly, plus most of the mods i am usin (except from the big one for the graphics)are mods for armors, plus the moonshadow elves..that's all :D

You are using OBMM and BOSS, right?

A lot of people still experience random crashes with their game, some consider it normal. I would also suggest installing OBSE and then after that there are a number of dll files you can easily install to help reduce or eliminate crashes. Fast Exit, Oblivion Stutter Remover and Windom Earls Oblivion Crash Prevention System come to mind. My game is heavily modded and I no longer ever get crashes.

If this sounds foreign to you, feel free to PM me for all the links.

Hi ;] - I think everybody here experiences crashes. I just face them; and quicksave every 10 min. The more mods you use; the more crashes you probably will experience, so if you have any mods you don't play (the armor that you wore once; the questline you finished ar lvl 1) disable them. That can make the crashes less frequent. Vista isn't the problem; I have played this game on XP and 2000 and got these crashes on both.
