bben46
How do you want to define modders?People who download and use modspeople who create modsPeople who create mods AND post them for others to usePeople who modify mods made by someone elsePeople who modify mods for their own usePeople who talk about making modsPeople who complain about mods not being exactly what they want but are too lazy to learn to do it themselvesAll of the above The preferred definition is: People who create mods AND post them for others to use. Kamajii
I estimated it as all of the above. Thats where I got my count of 28 from.
bben46
Actually, that's fairly close. the latest count of members shows just 1,569,476. But I just banned another one this morning so it's probably one less than that.
DarkeWolf
People who complain about mods not being exactly what they want but are too lazy to learn to do it themselves I personally dont think I'd count those as modders. Its sometimes a MASSIVE effort in restraint not to give those types, what for. Ask Luchaire, some of them can be very seriously demanding, even tho they may not know the extent of just how much work they're asking for. What about those that have tried to learn, but got lost in all the disconnected and poorly written tutorials? What about the ones that used to mod other games, but got lost in the new methods (and lousy implementation) that bioware used? The one about those that mod other's mods.... that one is iffy to me. I guess it just depends on the mod, and what they do to it. I mean, if somebody takes something like a face morph, changes the hair color, and releases it, thats not much of a mod. But if they take and remove or improve an issue that has bugs, or a lot of the community complains about, then it's a beneficial update/mod. Maybe I just dont understand the topic. Is the OP asking for a show of hands, some opinions, or what?
