MagBastard42
Hello! First of all, thank you for taking the time to aid me in my little issue. You see, it started on an attempt to create a new save after yet another reshuffle of my mod load order. All was well, load order was rock solid, and I had enough soda to last me until the wasteland cometh.Started up my game, and THAT prompt in the image is what I was greeted with. Now, seeing as this is usually caused by someone not having the faintest clue how to install NVSE correctly, you would think this would be an issue with NVSE not being installed correctly causing it not to load, but a quick gander at the console in the bottom left of the image should render that thought null. Now, what the [expletive deleted] is going on here?
RoyBatterian
What version of NVSE? updated it lately?
MagBastard42
NVSE 4.2beta 4.7 which is the most recent version on the NVSE web site.exe and .dll files are in the directory, and all is well in the load order. I have never come across this glitch before, and I have tried everything I can think of minus re-installing New Vegas.... Again... RoyBatterian
Sounds to me more like one of your mods has a bad NVSE checking script, or your antivirus/firewall/antimalware is doing something to prevent it from working properly.
MagBastard42
Could quite possibly be a mod. Had no issues with this before installing a few additional plugins. Will run a thorough sweep and see which ones pop up with issues.
MagBastard42
House Mod "Courier's Crib" was the issue. I am not sure if it was just in conflict with another mod causing issues or what, but the problem subsided once it was uninstalled. Thank you for the assistance Roy
RoyBatterian
Notify the author that his NVSE checking script has a bug in it. Oh and you're welcome. Edited August 8, 2014 by RoyBatterian
