reidus404
I hope somebody can give me some advice, cause I'm pissed! I finished DAO with my DW warrior, wearing my oh-so-fashionable Warden's Commander armor (you know, from Soldier's Peak, the add-on that BW did). So I import him into Awakenings, and the first scene starts (ya know, the one where we're fighting darkspawn) and my armor is Gone! I"m as naked as a new baby. Not only that, Starfang is gone as well. Now what makes this so weird is that I have Duncan's sword and dagger (ya know, from the other BW add-on), just fine. What makes this especially unforgivable is that I imported my arcane warrior wearing Wings of Velvet, and the armor came through just fine! Is there a patch or something that let's me get my SP stuff into Awakenings, or at least some kind of armor (I really don't like fighting in all my glory; it's too easy to get it cut off, lol). roninsoul7
From what I have read, you are going to have to find some mods to fix that. Awakenings disabled some of the origins items because their meshes and textures would clash with what was put in the new game. It all comes down to having either the DLC items or the new content from what I have read.
DarkeWolf
Yes. Its a known issue with the expansion. Essentially, those DLC items are blocked in the expansion and will not spawn. Nor will any armor/weapon mods that are based off those blocked models. For the reason that RoninSoul said. At the top of this page, click the link that says DANexus. At the top of that page, click Search.where it says IN THE FILENAME, type in awakening, and search. On about page 2 is the mods that will allow you to have some of the dlc items in DAA. Read through the descriptions and comments, to decide which one is best suited for you.Keep in mind tho, that with most of these mods, its not the ACTUAL DLC items, but Items that the modders RECREATED to bypass the block. So you may see a little bit of difference, like different names, or perhaps a typo here or there, or a slightly different description of the item. Good luck
DarkeWolf
Ronin- In awakening, there's a couple of options. its trying to get around the block in Origins where we are left pretty much with the choice of "deal with not having it" or "Reinstall and not use DAA".
