ImNotCrazy44
Out of Deadly Reflex, Unnecessary Violence, and Weapon Skill Attack Animation Replacer...which should I go with? Also, I noticed the Weapon Skill gives 8 animations for 1 handed and 8 for 2 handed. I'm assuming I just pick and chose 5 for 1 handed and 5 for 2 handed and don't worry about the other 3 for each? Trollkin
Honestly, you could use all three, as they don't overlap as much as you might think. Weaponskill is, as you guessed, just individual animations with which to overwrite any of the vanilla attacks. DR uses a couple custom anims, but leaves most of the vanilla ones alone(if memory serves) - It mostly adds special attacks not available in vanilla OB. UV changes up all sorts of things, including attack anims, and it uses existing animation replacers(notably Seph's mods and DMC Stylish) for UV special attacks. You can run UV(and DR) and still use Weaponskill anims to replace the vanilla power attack anims. Fair warning, though, DR has some pretty specific requirements in order to work correctly, and UV can be a BEAR to install, if you're not an experienced mod user. Myself, I use anims from both DMC and Weaponskill for my "vanilla" power attacks, and sometimes I load up both DR and UV, when I really want to experience Oblivion carnage. Sometimes, though, I only use the animation replacers(Weaponskill/DMC) and forego DR and UV completely, as my game is a bit less stable with UV installed(it is, after all, still a beta, and DR6 still hasn't been released.) I often pray that HexOff and Skycaptain take pity on us and release new versions of their absolutely amazing mods, but...so far, I'm still just praying. Short story boring - All three are great(as are DMC Stylish and Seph's Dual Wield) - but they're all much different beasts. You may decide to mix-and-match.
