"You are here marker" Gone

You know the yellow triangular thing on the map, the one that shows where you are. Mine has dissapeared. Completely. i tried turning off all mods and i tried installing the unofficial oblivion patch, niether helped.

It dosent show on the world map or the little maps of towns and dungeons.

Somebody help please? :(

do you have any mods that change the UI?

that could be the prob

also, disabling mods doesn't delete their data, that's why people use OBMM

just check which mods you've installed lately and delete their data from

you data folder.

after that reinstall them one by one and find out which is the bad one

This is a very strange report. Bad mods which edit cell 3, 3 of the worldspace in which the marker disappears from the zoomed-in map are the usual thing people report. In that case, if they go to a different worldspace, their marker comes back. I am amazed that with all of your mods disabled, you still have a problem. Make sure you dont have any user interface mods installed. I don't like to lightly advise people to reinstall Oblivion, but if you have no marker with plain vanilla Oblivion, maybe reinstallation should be an option.
