notmyhome
Unless it's a mod conflict, many crashes-on-load are fixed by stuff like SSME or the SKSE 1.7 memory fix. Do you use any of those? Another kind of crash happens wit deleted navmeshes, which stem from unexperienced modders mostly. Try deactivating all mods that affect the raven rock area and try again. notmyhome
Does that happen of a new game without any mods? Also, does your skse.ini have a section that looks like this: [Memory]DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768ScrapHeapSizeMB=256 ?Then it is set up to use the memory allocation patch (which is basically what the Skyrim Startup Memory Editor, SSME, did before it was included in SKSE.You can find your SKSE.ini in Skyrim/data/SKSE. If it's not there, you have to create it yourself, or you download this pre-written skse.ini.

notmyhome
I guess since SSME isn't up-to-date anymore, the SKSE ini method is better anyway. But if you really want to use SSME, you unpack the archive, copy the two files in there and paste them into the folder that contains TESV.exe . notmyhome
Yea, you need to create that folder manually. Crashing on the ship already, that is weird. Before or after leaving towards Solstheim? How does your game perform otherwise? Do you have acceptable levels of FPS everywhere, or is your system struggling sometimes? You could try to log your computer's performance using the Skyrim Performance Monitor. Skyrim has a known problem where it crashes when the TESV.exe process exceeds 3.1 gb of RAM usage. This issue is fixed by using the ENBoost feature of ENB.
