Bliss hates me

So its pretty weird. I've been able to get into Bliss fine for the longest while. I haven't added any new mods that change or alter anything in bliss that I know of. However not too long after I completed the quest for the Flame of Agnon I haven't been able to get back into Bliss. Every time I try my game crashes...and for some reason it appears that ONLY Bliss is affected. Another funny thing I noticed is Wide Eyes has stopped in the courtyard in the palace and just stays there. I don't know if this problem is connected or not, but I have a save that goes back to a point where Wide Eyes freezes but I can still go into Bliss. Every save after that and the town crashes my game.

 

It's been a real head scratcher for me. Help would be appreciated.

 

After the flame of Agnon I did try to install Fearsome Magicka but that crashed my game before I could start it. I turned the mod off, but I don't know why or how it would affect Bliss.

I'm not sure how FM would affect Bliss, or your saves, however you should always bare in mind that just deactivating mods doesn't remove them from your game (unless you installed via BAIN or OMOD)

It sounds as though something broke in Bliss around the time you did the Flame quest, hence in that save, the city is corrupt. Try loading an earlier save and racing through the quest (as I recall its not a particularly strenuous one, nor a very long one. You can always roll down to easiest difficult and use a center on target command to get it done faster) and then try entering Bliss and check on Wild Eye, just to see if the two problems are related in some way to the quest. If they are I would guess its a mod clashing with the quest, or with Wild Eye himself, though that wouldn't explain the city crashing.

Also check your saves with OBMM or Wrye Bash and make sure the save you're loading doesn't have a dependancy on a mod file you're no longer using. If it does, use your utility of choice to remove or change that dependancy.
