Invisible

I have a problem in the game with all mods for armor/clothes. Every time I download some new armor for the game (example underworld armor), it turns me invisible when I equip it. And if and ais have it on it will turn them invisible and they will be inside a big (but slightly transparent) yellow diamond with a black explanation point (!)?

What you have is missing Meshes and textures. Usually from an improperly installed mod.

Most of the time when I see this, you have answered NO when you get the warning about overwriting when installing a mod. ALWAYS answer yes. It does not overwrite anything - it appends to what is already there.

 

If you unzip the entire mod directly into the data folder it should place things in the proper locations. If it does not, unzip into a new folder that you make just for this mod. In the unzipped mod, You will probably see folders named Meshes and Textures. Move or copy these folders into the Oblivion\Data folder NOT the Data\meshes or Data\textures. The new folders should then install themselves in the proper place, inside the Meshes or texture folders. The new data structure will look like Data\Meshes\mod name folder and Data\textures\new mod name folder.
