The specs are: Alienware 17 I7 4710MQ12gb ramGTX 880m 8gb gddr51920x1080p true life display+3d bundleWin7 So what do you think? Will this run skyrim okay? Most certainly will I have an i7-4700HQ with a GeForce750m in my laptop and run 90ish mods and everything is on medium/high settings. Though I do question your choice of an Aleinware notebook for college, usually you're paying a premium for Aleinware you could likely get a better Asus, or Lenovo notebook with better build quality and better keyboard for the same money.
