gamefever
Simply put here are some things I found left wanting in the vanilla game. -Once you've gotten access to the vault and have done in Mercer. The vault itself stays empty, no matter how many quest you do it never ever fills up.-You could dump stuff there yourself, but-->Cell reset and blam all your work is gone-->vanilla game bug/intention? The vault eventually closes forever.-You should see the vault filling up with piles of gold aka from DragonBorn DLC, and various pieces of weapons and armor, which with some assets made available for use by other mods like prefilled chests of loot and wardrobe's full of customs should be easy.-Each quest completed should place another item or asset into the vault. Next big issue, Golden Glow estate-The Player owns the estate but nothing ever comes of it,-You don't get to have upgrade quests like BreezeHome,-You don't get to hire anyone-No housecarl management like HearthFire DLC-No money sink-No radiant quests to establish contracts or delivery of goods-The mercs stay hostile and for that matter they respawn rather than gone forever.-You should at the least be able to sell the deed for enough coin to purchase a house!-It should have a management system with quests, upgrades for housing, and management of the grounds.-You should get messages via courier about events that the housecarl needs you to handle. But as it is you get nothing and you cant even mount that bit of paper on the wall of one your homes to publically display how awesome you are. That's it, all that needs to be done to enhance this piece of gameplay that anyone that has played the game has encountered. Heck man the vault needs to look the part when the guild is going on about how its starting to prosper again. Someone needs to buy that deed off the player at the very least. There are no bugfree mods that meet or address these changes from what I've seen. Im aware that Goldenglow Estate mod exists and I know about Thieves guild mods, but simply put they don't fix the issues and rather introduce new problems to the game. stebbinsd
Where does the game ever give you control of Golden Glow? I know Karliah purchased it, but I don't recall her ever transferring her ownership to you.
gamefever
The player character actually gets the Deed to the estate in the quest. When you talk to Brenyolf later one of the outcomes is to keep the deed. This might not seem legit in real world but its a fantasy game in a world with rules that are different from our own. A better source would be WIKI, which pretty much backs up that the player has ownership of the estate if not than at least to the deed which would mean to me that ownership of the estate itself is in question given that Karliah never was forth coming of her identity, owning the estate might not be that difficult. If it came to realism purposes for a mod coming forward as the owner would net you some new enemies.
