Thandal
How do I list all the mods without haveing to type them all out? Can I copy and paste from the Mod Manager? Nope. a) What "manager" are you talking about? (I can think of four.)b) No manager handles all mods.c) If you don't know what mods you've installed, you have bigger problems than a misbehaving one. Standard Troubleshooting at this point is the following: 1. Uninstall/Remove ALL mods. 2. Test that vanilla game doesn't have the problem I was experiencing. 3. Re-install my mods in batches. (Depending on how confident I feel, that might be batches of 5, or 25, at a time.) The goal is to add back as many mods as possible WITHOUT breaking the game. 4. Test that the game still works correctly. 5. Re-install the next batch. 6. Rinse/Repeat until I encounter the problem again. 7. Remove the last batch installed, and examine them. 8. Add back about half, including what I believe to be the most likely culprit. 9. Rinse/Repeat until you've isolated the troublemaker! :geek: Third, just removing your "\override" folder won't disable many kinds of mods, (any that are ".dazips", for example.) And see Step 2., above. Unless you verify that the vanilla game works correctly, no point in looking at your mods as the source of the problem.

theskymoves
Are you using any cosmetic mods that add options to the character creator? Often a CTD at that point is due to an error in the chargenmorphcfg.xml file... if you have added cosmetics, and all else fails, remove your edited chargenmorphcfg.xml, replace it with your backup of the vanilla file (everyone makes one of those, right, or is it just me?), and see if the issue persists. williamgillam713
I know the Vanilla game works fine. I was encountering mesh problems with other mods before I uninstalled and started over with these mods.
williamgillam713
So, I can look at the mods that I just started to use this time around. Can't I just uninstall some of those new ones and see if I can get it to work that way? I checked my backup and I don't have a back up chargenmorphcfg.xml file from before I started modding. So, I guess I answered my own question. No, I have to start over Vanilla and make a Vanilla back up and as Thandal stated install mods either one at a time or a couple at a time and test. Then if its good, keep modding. And repeat... I know I should have done that from the start yet... I was in a hurry... Bad me!!! I need to be punished. LOL!!! I guess I am, can't play the game. LOL!!!
