Star4ce
Heya there I was quite long searching for a/some special magic mods. But unfortunately there are really many mods for that corner, I couldn't find any appropriate ones. So, I am searching for an enchamtment mod, that lets you enchant several Fortify Attribute/Skill -spells to one armor slot, as well as the acquivalent spell to cast upon yourself and others. For example I want to enchant a cuirass with +10 Strength, +10 Agility, +10 Blunt Weapons and +10 Blade Weapons. I hope such mods exist, though I can imagine that the game-design doesn't allow modders to enable these features. Besides another question, is it normal for vanilla and any other mod, that you just can enchant "resist fire" but nothing else like "resist frost"? Thanks for answering I wish you all a nice evening Star4ce
BigFatDwarf
Well, For multiple enchantments you could either use Enchantment Enhanced or Advanced Magecraft, at least these two I know of. Enchantment Enhanced will allow you to stack multiple effects, but in my opinion, it's crap. Therefore, I only really use it for the arrow enchanting and the scroll learning. Advanced Magecraft has loads of functions, however, try to restrain yourself. It's really easy to create really uber stuff with it. Anyway, how you'd do what you want with it: 1. Enchant your armor with your first effect. 2. Enchant another armor with another effect. 3. Transfer the enchantment to your preferred armor. 4. You now have two (or more if you repeat steps 2. and 3.) effects. 5. ??? 6. PROFIT! As to your other question, I don't think I understand it properly, but it seems you want to know why you can use the Resist Fire effect but not the Resist Frost.Trick is, you first need to know the effect. Just buy a spell or something with that effect. If this is not what you wanted to ask, then please clarify.
Star4ce
Ah thanks, AM was the kind of mod I was looking for. Well the second question may also be ignored^^ It may be because I haven't learned the spells, but then again, why do I have fire resist
BigFatDwarf
Well I'm not sure, but I think you can also use the effects on items and such. Maybe you have some armor with Resist Fire?
Star4ce
That may be, I could once have owned a ring or what. But I'm now curious about another thing:The enchantments with attributes work just fine, but although I got spells to fortify skills (In this case Mysticism and Destruction) I can't enchant items with that. But this feature is possible? Somehow it doesn't work. Best regards
BigFatDwarf
Hmm. Well, I know that mods can change if an effect can be used in spellmaking and enchanting. Some mods do that, as an attempt to rebalance the game. Usually that's done with Chameleon and Charm, though others can be done so too. Perhaps you use one such mod? Another idea would be to make a mod that has all these effects enabled for custom use, then load it last to overwrite all the others. Anyway, the Fortify Skill effects are enabled as default. Star4ce
The only other magic mods I use are: Midas Magic and Supreme Magicka Are there incompatibilities with these mods? best regards
Star4ce
Hm I think I know the problem now. The spells I had to fortify a skill were through a mod; as soon as I learned the great might - spell from a doomstone I could enchant every fortify skill to armor. So, my problem is completely solved now^^ Thanks for your help Have funStar4ce
