LameytheClown Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 It seems like one of the mods I've installed has shortened the range at which I can manipulate objects. To loot bodies I have to crouch on top of them and swing my cursor around to find a high point. Basically I have to loot their butts. This applies to objects that fall on the ground and containers in general. I have to be pushed up against a chest to open it. This is a tad annoying. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what controls the range for this gameplay element? A global variable perhaps? I would like to make myself a little mod to overwrite whatever change was made.
BigFatDwarf Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 I have no idea about that, but: Try using TES4Edit. Load all mods into it, then just see what variables have been changed. It shouldn't be too hard to see what is for this then. Still, maybe someone else knows better.

Thank you - apparently the culprit is Deadly Reflex and the IActivatePickLength game setting.
