As editor for a Model

Dear Members of the Forum,

I have a few problems, I know not what editor should I work for a model, Blender or 3ds Max Softimage Mod Tool or other?

You'll need something like blender (free), or 3dsmax/maya.

Here are some modeling tutorials

If you'll go with blender, hereare some video tutorials as well. The Echo ones are quit good to start with. (of course, after you've found the blender main tutorial, or at least the info about the keys.)
