A more punk fallout would be nice...

it would be nice if there was a more punk element to fallout 3. for example there aren't many punk clothing mods out there ( Ive seen 2 so far ) and the Mohawks in the game aren't the best that i have seen and there aren't any hair mods out there, that i know of, that add any thing that's punk. don't get me wrong i really like the hair mods its just that they are too anime for my taste.

 

so what i suggest is ...

 

first of all more MOHAWKS !! (and other punk hairstyles of course ) something a bit like this

 

 

 

 

secondly more face piercing. like in the picture. cuz i have seen only one piercing mod out there and it looked like it was only a body piercing ( i didn't check because im too lazy )

 

 

and last but most definitely not least, more punk clothing. like combat boots, leather jackets with zillions of metal studs on it, anarchy T shirts, the list goes on and on.

gosh it would be so cool if some could so a mod like that. i mean the whole punk style thing it fits so well with fallout3. sure the game is set in the 50s but still i bet it would look really good.

Actually, I think the Raiders look pretty punk the way they are. They are like the unionist of the people of the wastes, the lower-working class that had nowhere to go, and stay out in the wastes by looting. When it comes to esthetics, I thing they have a pretty punk-look as well. The Raider armors are pretty punk, I think, made from the loot they found and tires and stuff like that. The "Mangy Hair" (or what the name is) and the other Raider hair dos are pretty punk-looking I think. If it's just mohawks and t-shirts with band names you want, then you need to search the NExus. I bet there are mods there for you.

yeah but they aren't exactly 80s style punk, but more like i buy my clothes from the super dooper mart sort of punk not exactly what i was thinking of.

 

let me put it this way. the difference between raider punk and 80s punk is like the difference between fallout 2 and fallout 3. they are both set in the same universe they are both RPGs. but they are still very different in that one of them has the unique ability of being in 3D which makes it much more special to me. not that anything is wrong with the last game im sure.

You have to remember the theme in the game is a retro-50s theme. The "punk" you want to see is actually the pompador haircut and Tunnel Snakes jacket like Butch and the Tunnel Snakes wear in the beginning of the game. The time frame they're using is before any of the '70s-'80s punk themes came to be. So...in reality, the mohawk in the game is really more native indian than punk rock. Back in 1950 if someone shaved their head into a mohawk, they weren't being punk, they were being native indian (and probably getting laughed at).

Raiders were based off of the Motorcycle gangs in Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior. The guys there were pretty punked out to the extreme.
