spystyle Posted August 12, 2014 Share Posted August 12, 2014 Is there a mod where alien's weapon's don't self destruct ?If I recall, the original X-Com from the 90's did not have self destructing alien weapons, and I've already played through the game, I'd like to see what it would be like if the alien's weapons didn't self destruct.In fact, I'd like to see a mod that makes the entire game more like the original one LOL. Krazyguy75 Posted August 12, 2014 Share Posted August 12, 2014 Well, if I were to do it, just add engineering for each weapon that allows you to break it into the fragments. That way you are still deconstructing and reverse engineering. If I had a UI designer, I'd try to make it a seperate tab. My point was: weapon fragments are one of the game main resource, along with money, alloys, etc. Changing how they work also requires massive changes to game mechanics and balance.
