Hughsmith
Wondering if this is normal. I wound up with 2 data folders: 1. fallout new vegas/data/dataContains nvse/plugins: stutter remover files, also componentdlls (folder): BorIndMM.dll, libtcmalloc_minimal.dll, tbbmalloc.dll 2: fallout new vegas/dataAlso contains nvse/plugins: MCM.dll, nvac.dll, pn_nvse.dll. Note that NVSE does work, but whether or not its actually using both directories, I don't know. This just strikes me as very odd. I wonder if it's a glitch with a FOMOD installer, and if I should merge data/data/nvse into data/nvse so there's only 1 directory. DrakeTheDragon
This "/data/data/nvse/plugins" folder will most definitely be never used. All NVSE plugin DLLs belong into "/data/nvse/plugins". I'm not sure if FOMOD can, but it looks to me almost like someone tried to install a mod containing a "data" folder with a manager like NMM, which can't do that.Or simply put a manager-incompatible mod was downloaded/installed with manager here. These things happen rather often when users expect an NMM install to work, only because the file page offers a "download with manager" button, while in truth it's only available because it being available was the default when it was introduced, and the author of the page in question so far never came back to disable it on this page. Could it be one of these? But regardless, merging them into the correct folder structure NVSE is expecting will most certainly be the best way to go about it now. Hughsmith
Thank you for the response. According to my notes, NVSE installed itself to data/data. But I it's certainly possible I botched the installation or installed something as a FOMOD, whereas it should have been unzipped and installed manually. I'll definitely merge the two directories together now that I know its the best way to proceed. I wonder if I have to reinstall the mods that were using the data/data directory or if it will sort itself out. Thanks again.
