IMO the Mabari hounds in the game are butt ugly. They're obviously a mish-mash of a boxer dog and a pitbull, both of which are extremely fugly in my opinion I don't like either of those breeds one bit.

 

And the brown colour of the Warden's dog only makes it worse. I think the colour brown is very pretty colour on many things and on many animals, but on that dog it only amplifies its immense ugliness.

 

Can someone please make a mod to make the dog look better? Maybe something to make it look like a wolf, or some other kind of dog? Or at least something to make it a different colour? :sad:

I've been using a mod for quite a while that lets you either change the color of the mabari, or change it to actually use the wolf meshes or textures.

It does however, change ALL mabari to look like this, not just the companion Dog. So if thats not what you're lookin for, then I'm sorry, but its the only one I know of.

Now on mine, it didnt work right, at first. it did take over correctly on a new game tho.

Now from the sounds of it, it does sound like you want one that changes all of them.

If so, then ignore the rest of my post. I'm gonna edit in a tut on how to change JUST the Dog to look like a wolf or blight wolf, for any future reference.

 

EDIT- nvm about the tut. I completely forgot about how warpaint/kaddis alters the tint/texture file that is used, when different warpaint is applied. And I dont know how to bypass that, so it would cause graphics errors when altering that particular character in toolset. Sorry about that.

Lehcar- Like I said before, the first one, it doesnt work 100% correctly for me the first time around. havent tried the second one tho. Hopefully they go well for you :smile:
