balthazar9086
Hi guys, I made the mistake of having my armor mods enabled during character creation. While most of them still appeared once I reached the party camp, a couple of the ones I really wanted decided to stay home instead. So my question is: is there any way of resetting the armor mods so that the game treats the ones that didn't spawn as NEWLY INSTALLED MODS? I've tried the usual disable, force load, and then enable and reload, but they didn't work at all. I'd really hate to have to recreate my character and go through his origin story again just to get two sets of armor. Maybe there's a mod that lets me skip the origin story yet still obtain all the xp and items? lol Thanks!
DarkeWolf
1) are you using patch 1.03 or awakening? That WILL block certain mods from loading, regardless of what you try to do.2) Did you try UNINSTALLING the mods, force load a save, create a NEW, Clean save, and then reinstall? If you're not using patch 1.03/DAA?

Also, I went back to an old character (created before the mods were even installed), and the mods also worked.
DarkeWolf
Ok, well, this at least is cool, that your mods arent getting blocked by the patch. It sounds like you're having an issue with savegame bleedover on that particular character. Which is when the mod's spawn script reads a different savegame, and says "Hey, we've already loaded this, we dont need to do it again." The first method is to do what I said before #2, tho you may also have to make a clean save on some of your other characters in order for it to work. HDHD has also recently released an alternative. However, if the mods that you are having problems with, arent listed in the script, you will have to enter them in manually. Which means that you may have to do some research in the toolset.http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1131 is his add items script. A few mods are already listed there, and the description tells which ones. However, I'm not nearly as familiar with how DAO handles scripts as he is, and I dont wanna give you bad advice on how to do that, since it might involve a bit of toolset usage if you need to compile it after editing it. You might ask him in the comments section of his mod, if you dont understand the instructions of how to do it in the readme.txt file. (opens with notepad by default).
