Trigoras
I've been having trouble recently with MOBS/OMOBS.I use FCOM (OOO/Francesco/Martigen/Warcry plugins) and there are various MOBS/OMOBS patches out there, I've read so many guides but can not find out one simple question. What patches do I use?! It's giving me a giant headache, and I don't want to install the wrong ones and end up getting conflicts, was wondering if anyone would be able to help, possibly explaining what I need to download. If it matters/helps I use Shivering Isles & all official DLC from Bethesda in addition with FCOM (I do not use Bob's Armory or Loth's Blunt Weapons, just the major four I listed at top. Thanks for any help in advance :turned:
Jenrai
MOBS is the Medieval Oblivion Balancing System, or something similar, which was used to balance vanilla Oblivion weapons with Frans (someone stop me if I'm wrong here :P ) However, FCOM uses and introduces stacks of new weapons on top of Frans additions, and makes other substantial changes to combat too, hence the creation of OMOBs - the extra O standing for Overhaul. At least that's how I've always interpreted it, and I've never had any issues. In short, when using FCOM, use OMOBs. Seems to work just dandy for me. PS: Why haven't you got Loth's & Bobs? In the words of that bloody annoying cartoon tiger... They're Greeaaatt!, and the plugins from FCOM balance them straightaway with it, removing any worry of conflicts/overpowering. Happy hunting. Trigoras
Thanks for the reply, I'll stick with the main OMOBS files then, and for Loth's/Bob's they've never seemed too appealing to me, but, I should give them another shot, thanks!
