Teddy894
Ok,here's my first shared mod idea: After main Civil War quest line has finished,Skyrim has a sudden burst of renewal, regardless of whether the Empire won or were fended off by the stormcloaks *Whiterun is repaired after the despicable attack and a small merged town grows on the outskirts of the City *Winterhold is rapidly rebuilt with resortful sea defenses *The Ratway in Riften is cleared out by City guards and the entire place becomes a safe haven in the rift *In summer, ships populate the ghost Sea and the player may visit new Islands Edited August 13, 2014 by Teddy894
mlee3141
Frankly, that would be boring unless you tie in a questline to involve the Player. I think clearing out the Ratway could be a nice quest, letting you side with the Jarl, and wipe out the Thieves Guild. Provides a little more choice for lawful characters. mlee3141
Fair enough, but these changes exceeded the "immersion" point. Those radical changes would be too sudden and abrupt to explain without a story behind it, and the Player being involved.
Valkasha
To be honest I never understood why there are almost no homes outside of the city walls, Skyrim would have had slums just like any medieval city.
monganfinn
There are already mods to repair Whiterun and Winterhold and several mods that overhaul the cities to add more houses to them.Whiterun hardly needs slums outside of the walls, there´s more than enough room inside the walls - I say they were simply to lazy to fill that room. Perhaps the player could be somehow involved in the repairs through mini quests such as: "bring us that" etcOr the barkeeps could tell the player to check out the rebuild cities, remarking how much better Skyrim has become after the war ended.
