RogueMale
As I recall, all you need do is talk to the owner of the Inn, he has keys to all the doors, as you might expect. You may need to do some Speechcraft on him to get him to trust you. Alternatively, you could try to pick his pocket and steal the key from him, if your in a thieving frame of mind :-) ! First way is probably easier !
Malchik
Not sure what you mean RogueMale, I think you may be muddling the quests up. AFAIK you should not need a key to enter Fort Blueblood or to get around there. I haven't played the quest for a while but I have done it a couple of times without problem. Perhaps you are missing a tunnel somewhere. I will have a look for you if no one else comes up with the answer.

Malchik
Okay I was wrong you do need a key. Basically you keep turning left. (I don't count corners and bends in the tunnels you have to follow.) After entering:- Junction 1 - turn left (right to a gate you can't yet unlock) Room 1 - turn left (right takes you to a room with no other exit) Room 2 - turn left (I think you have no option here) Room 3 - turn left (also no alternative) Room 4 is on two levels with a pond on the lower. The upper part is in two sections connected by a walkway. There are three marauders. The ORC on the far side upper level has the key you need. Find his corpse. The body may have fallen into the pond. Hope this solves the problem.
daeanor
The key is in a chest in that room just past the walkway and before the locked doors. As I recall, the chest is on your right as sson as you cross the bridge. It's possible I'm mixing things up, but if it's not there, it's on one of the bodies in that same room. I just got that far last night, I can say for certain the key is in that room. Now if I could only get past that nasty spriggan in the next room ... :)
Erlkoenig
*SPOILER* IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS IN THE QUEST DON"T READ THIS!!!!!!!!!!! once you get the key you should enter the room, grab the stone, and hightail it out of there, when you get to the door Kalthar will try to stop you, kill him or let will o the wisp kill him, he might have the stone, i can't remember, if you have a horse, you should leave it at the entrance for escaping
