Dragon Age Song

After I played DAO I wrote this song. I really wanted to make my own custom-voiced companion, but alas I could not figure out the resources of how to get the character into the existing game rather than a new campaign. I would still love to team up with a talented programmer to bring this idea to life if one can be found :smile: I have made several companion mods for Skyrim already, but I can't do Dragon Age coding.

If not, I put this song up as a resource. Don't forget to credit me if you use it! I wouldn't say it's "finished" either, since I've been tweaking, discarding, adding verses for a while now. I would also be open to collaboration with another songwriter to fine-tune this and add music.

to fight the Darkspawn seething flood

 

The Wardens Gray on griffons soared

and fell upon the Darkspawn hoard.

In Weisaupt Fortress they stood strong,

commanding thousands in their throng

 

In Trenches Dead the Darkspawn dwell

lead by dragons, fierce and fell.

Cailin marched at army's head.

In Ostagar the fields ran red.

 

The Dalish roamed the forest old;

War and loss their hearts turned cold,

A werewolf curse had plagued their land,

shaped long ago by Keeper's hand.

 

In Orzamar the King lay dead,

two heirs warring in his stead,

and Paragons lost in Deep Roads grim

the Anvil of the Void grown dim.

 

The Mages Tower lay besieged

by demons from the Fade in greed

Abominations raged and flew

and Templars drowned in nightmares new.

 

From broken country called to arms,

a land united 'gainst the Blight

there went Dwarves and Elves and Men;

the Warden led the final fight.

Very nice. I think I can write my own songs for Vortex of Time after all, with this as inspiration.
