Tomlong54210
How come If I grab someones face texture, open it in Paint.net or Gimp, edit it and save it as a dds. It does not show up in tes construction, it only shows all black? All black indicates a missing normal map. You need to create a normalmap for this DDS as well. Normal maps have to correspond to the name of the texture file. For example, "myhead.dds" needs a normal map "myhead_n.dds". You should mimic the file structure of the other character files. I guess paint.net can do normal mapping if you add this... http://paint.net.amihotornot.com.au/Features/Effects/Plugins/Color/Normal_Map/ Something I might check into later, but I'm just gonna do it all in Gimp for now. thnx!!! Tomlong54210
GIMP requires a normal map plugin as well it seems. I stored the link here: Programs & Utilities. Edit: I bet it is easier to install the plugin for Paint.NET, haha.
XxShinra
Oh that's funny I already installed the plugin awhile back but never got around to messing with it much till latley.
