I thought i share this here. Basicly everyone who liked Freelancer, Wing Commander, Elite and so forth will love this. Make sure you check out the other stuff aswell and if you want to contribute modding skills theres quite an active community around.

The engine of freelancer could not handle that. I believe not. :biggrin:

 

The engine being used here is a stand-alone project.

Sweet a free roaming galaxy, now freelancer was not capable of that kind of graphics, it was parallaxed though. I hope this game comes out soon, the depth is amazing :thumbsup:

 

not to mention visiting planets in real time like that.
