I have used HGEC body texture before but recently I had to uninstall my copy of oblivion. Now when i install the mod it show lines on the thighs and on the shoulders, although it is barely noticeable it bothers me. I was wondering if anybody had the same problem, and if so, can tell me how to fix this if you need any screenshots I will try to get a few. And also the neck is shiny I would very much like to know how I can fix it.

Thanks in advance.

Maybe you have bad shaders. Make sure you already patched your game to the latest version (which is taken care of if you are using the GOTY edition.) "Shininess" is usually cause by the normal map. Make sure you have BSA Redirection set in OBMM (if you use it). You can set it in Utilities > Archive invalidation. If that does not fix your issue, you can try installing the official shaders again.

Almost sounds like a combination of a bad installation and bad normal maps.If normal maps have a bad or no transparency, the end effect is massive shininess. And if you are having disable seams, there are seam reduction mods out there.

You know, I have the shiny neck problem, too. I never realized it might not be showing correctly. Most of the body looks just fine, but when you turn the character to face directly forward, the neck and collarbone area reflect so much light it literally looks white. Then you turn the character at a slight angle to either side and you can see the neck is indeed flesh-colored. I'd almost forgotten about that because I assumed it was normal and I just keep my girl turned at a slight angle whenever I dress her so I haven't noticed the white neck in awhile. I just took a look at the normal map and it doesn't look "bad" to me. It's the same vivid magenta with blue highlights that most other non-shiny normal maps are, and the neck region is no different than the rest of it. Maybe the whole damn thing is shiny and you just don't see it 99% of the time because the collarbone area is the only part of the body at the right angle to hit the light.

I'll try uninstalling the body mod and reinstalling it and see if anything changes. It's an omod so pretty easy to do. And if that doesn't work, I'll try reinstalling with a different upper body option... I forget what I'm using now, I think HGEC standard C-cup nude.

Edit: Reporting back. A reinstall didn't help, and the shine remains the same regardless of which upper body I try. At least, I tried Normal and Fighter, A-Cup, C-Cup and E-Cup versions just to see. Here's a picture of what it looks like... you can see what I mean by the white neck. The shine is all over the body, as you can tell by the thigh area, but I guess we only notice the neck because it's often left uncovered by clothing whereas the thighs are nearly always covered.

It's possible that you only see the high-shine gloss effect when the character is very fair-skinned. A lot of people seem to go for a tanned California beach style... but I wanted my girl to look like me and I'm Irish, lol.

Picture is NSFW, sorry.
