Bloody Mess

I have seen a strange thing. Somewhere between lvl. 10 and -11, I suddenly have the "Bloody mess" perk. without asking for it. It's pretty annoying, as I'm not too keen on it. I like my corpses in -for the most- one piece  I have tried to load a lvl. 10 and then play on. The same happens again. Suddenly targets start to explode.

I HAVE found a console code to get rid of it. But I was wondering if anyone else have tried this. And maybe have an explanation. I have all DLCs and game patched to 1.7. No unofficial patch.

Well it's not normal if that's what you mean. If you have mods running then it's in there. If you don't have mods running then try to duplicate it in a new game start. If it still does it you should probably re-install the game as it would be hardcoded or corupted, but I'm pretty sure it's not that.

Thanks for your answer. Well, I don't have many mods running. Only about 135 active :whistling:

And I'm too far into the game to start from the beginning. But I've found a mod! that removes the mess from the "Bloody mess".

It works like a charm and I can play on, without having gore all over the place.

So by that measure. If you come to my garage with a flat tire I can just let the air out of your other 3 tires, an everything will be okay? Ha Ha Ha

A temporary solution to a permanent problem. Sounds like a great plan. It sounds benign to meh, but this kind of thing can come back to haunt you.

Good luck.

Yeah, well I think you have a point. But I'm not too good at figuring out which mods do some crazy things. My alternative would be to reinstall, and add mods bit by bit with testing in between. It would take a long time and right now my game runs stable with quite a few mods in the load order. Besides, the mod in question just takes away the gore, but leaves me with the bonus. A free perk I guess you could say. But then what with all the other mods that combine to make the game both harder and easier. After all it's just for fun :teehee:

But thanks to you -and all the other clever minds on the Nexus- who make gaming life much easier to guys & girls like me, who know more about playing the game, than the engine driving it.

I salute you
