Ok so far in my few months DL mods for Oblivion, i really havent found much clothing mods for guys. The only one I found was Leras Clothing for men. I was wondering if anyone knew of any clothing mods for guys.

Sorry to crash another persons thread, but I think it's somewhat relevant. Are there any body replacer mods that are for both men and women, and aren't completely nude? I'm mostly have something that replaces both bodies for the two sexes, nude or not.

No. The male and female bodies use different meshes. However, Robert has created a male and female body. There are underwear versions of most body replacers, anyway.

I was wondering if you know where to get a mod that makes all the clothes in the vanilla game form to HGEC bodies? The mod works fine, but I noticed that the clothes definately aren't made for these bodies, and there are noticable graphical glitches because of it.

EDIT 2: I've actually found quite a few mods fitting the description of what I wanted. Man, I gotta remember to search before I speak.

Yeah... The EVE project is huge, and includes replacers for the stock clothing as well as the major overhauls.

Just one note, if you use the EVE stock clothing and armor replacers, you'll probably want to install the HGEC body separately. The EVE stock clothing replacer is a stand-alone mod and comes with the option to either install one of three different versions of the HGEC body, or use your existing body. So you can download the EVE clothing replacer and install it and never have to do anything else; it includes the body along with the clothes. It just doesn't have nearly as many choices for the body as the original HGEC does. For the longest time I didn't realize HGEC itself is a separate mod because I found EVE first and it installed the body for me so I didn't know I was supposed to download a separate body mod or even that one was available. I couldn't figure out what people were talking about with Fighter body etc, as EVE doesn't include that as a choice. EVE only comes with Normal and Extra Buff Edition body options, and two or three mid-range breast size choices, whereas the actual HGEC mod has Normal, Fighter, EBE, and GUTS, along with every cup size from AA to H.

 

Even if you want to choose a body option that EVE comes with, for instance HGEC Normal C-cup, I'd still recommend installing the body using the HGEC mod and not the EVE... reason being... um, how do I say this politely. The nude version of the one packed in EVE has the same modeling, but for some reason it has no hair in a place where I personally feel there should be hair. If you know what I mean. Without the hair, the modeling in that area, which is very damned realistic, is staring you in the face all the time lookikng rather obscene. I use the nude body choice for realism and because I like to choose my own lingerie instead of the stock colorless bra and panty set -- I DON'T use it because I really want to see the female body up close and personal in my game! I'm a girl, I already know what's down there. :P HGEC's nude lower body includes a modest strip of hair so you're not always staring at the modeled bits unless you deliberately look for it.

 

It sounds like you've already got your body replacer installed and are now looking for clothing, so this doesn't apply to you... but as I said in another thread, I figure I'm not the first person in the history of Oblivion modding to have made this mistake. And if someone else can learn from my mistakes, I have no problem letting my stupidity all hang out, lol.
