Enhance new post notification for file topics

Firstly: TESN is one of my favourite ES sites.

and then on to what I'm posting about;

The email notification of new posts on topics here is very handy, however no notification occurs if the post occurs via the file page on TesNexus (or FO3Nexus etc). That is somewhat annoying; not excruciating but does waste a bit of time... so if you get the time I'd appreciate it if that could be added. (No worries if it takes a while, I understand coding (well Python anyways - php not really at all).

well I figure I've waiting a polite amount of time to bump this... really any longer and it woud be verging on thread necromancy - totally got too busy and forgot about this.

I totally understand if it is too hard/time consuming to add but it'd be a nice feature if it is fairly easy to add
