Fo3edit Merged Patch Question

edit:

I think it was FOOK2's hotfix that had references to non existent items. I don't know why FO3edit didn't give the normal "could not be resolved" error... but I found it just by looking around and deleted them. Haven't seen the error stated below since. I still would love to know what it was trying to tell me, though.. and how I could more easily pinpoint where the error was.

I'm getting this error when I simply try to make a merged patch of FOOK and FWE and DLCs: "Found a REFR reference, expected: FACT,RACE".

I have more mods, but I'm more in a troubleshooting stage.

I tried filtering for REFR, FACT, RACE.. and I still couldn't pinpoint where/what it was.

What does the error mean?

I expect that a REFR answer was given to a FACTion or RACE slot.

How do I pinpoint what's causing the error to patch it?

Or... does it even matter? I don't know if it's a serious error or not.

I've looked through the "manual", but haven't found any answers concerning this error.

Thanks in advance! 8)

i've seen the same thing when doing a merged patch with those mods - the errors I got came from anchorage. I just ignored them and things are fine. I'd be more concerned if the error came from Fook, FWe, or my own mod, because it does indicate a corrupt record. I've had it happen in my own mods when removing a record or a master with fo3edit sometimes. Loading the mod in the Geck sometimes fixes it. Other times, I just make a new esp and copy all the good records to it from the old one, just to be sure.
